About Sam

Sam joined The Health Phyx after relocating to the Gold Coast from the United Kingdom, where he built over six years of clinical experience across the National Health Service and professional football.

His career highlights include serving as Head of Medical at Eastleigh FC in the National League and working as a physiotherapist at Southampton FC in the English Premier League. These roles involved managing acute matchday injuries, designing post-surgical rehabilitation programmes, and overseeing return-to-sport testing for professional athletes.

At The Health Phyx, Sam applies the same structured, evidence-based approach to patients of all levels. Whether you are a weekend warrior recovering from an ACL reconstruction or someone dealing with persistent knee pain, Sam's experience in lower limb rehabilitation and late-stage rehab helps guide your recovery with clear milestones and measurable progress.

Sam also has training in clinical Pilates and reformer-based rehabilitation, which he incorporates into treatment plans where appropriate. His approach focuses on building strength, confidence, and resilience through each phase of recovery.
