Appointments and Cancellations
Initial consultations are approximately 45-60 minutes. Follow-up appointments are 30-45 minutes. Cancellations made within 4 hours of the scheduled appointment time, or failure to attend without prior notice, will result in a late cancellation fee of $50. To avoid this fee, please provide notice and reschedule to an alternative time.
Treatment and Outcomes
All treatment provided at The Health Phyx is delivered by AHPRA-registered physiotherapists using evidence-based approaches. Treatment outcomes vary between individuals and are influenced by factors including the nature and severity of the condition, adherence to prescribed exercises, and individual health factors. No guarantee of specific outcomes is made or implied.
Informed Consent
Before commencing treatment, your physiotherapist will explain the proposed treatment plan, including any risks or potential side effects. You have the right to ask questions and to decline any proposed treatment at any time. Consent for treatment is obtained at your first appointment.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of your appointment. We accept cash, card, and contactless payments. Health fund claims can be processed on the spot via our HICAPS terminal. Medicare CDM, DVA, NDIS, and WorkCover claims are processed in accordance with the relevant scheme requirements.
