Our Services
RemedialMassage

Targeted hands-on therapy to release muscular tension, improve circulation, and support your body's natural recovery processes.

Remedial massage at The Health Phyx is a targeted, therapeutic approach to treating muscular pain, tension, and dysfunction. Unlike relaxation massage, remedial massage involves a clinical assessment to identify the underlying cause of your symptoms, followed by specific soft tissue techniques aimed at restoring normal muscle function and reducing pain.

Our practitioners use a range of techniques including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and cupping. Treatment is tailored to your individual presentation — whether you are managing chronic tension from desk work, recovering from a sporting injury, or seeking relief from headaches related to muscular tightness in the neck and shoulders.

Remedial massage may be used as a standalone treatment or as part of a broader physiotherapy programme. Many of our clients benefit from combining massage with exercise-based rehabilitation, particularly when dealing with persistent musculoskeletal conditions. Our practitioners work closely with the physiotherapy team to ensure your treatment plan is coordinated and effective.

Sessions are conducted in our private recovery suite, providing a comfortable and quiet environment. Your practitioner will discuss your symptoms, assess the affected areas, and explain the treatment approach before commencing. We encourage open communication throughout the session so treatment pressure and technique can be adjusted to your comfort level.

Health fund rebates may be available depending on your level of cover. We offer HICAPS on-site for convenient claiming.
